MONTICELLO - The Monticello Area Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 25 at Zwingli United Church of Christ. The program will follow a short business meeting.

The speaker will be Richard Hager, a third-generation funeral director.

He will speak on the history of the process of funerals and the progression throughout the years and the history of the Shriner firm.

This program is open to the public.
