BRODHEAD — The next meeting of the Brodhead Historical Society will be held at 7 p.m. July 30 in the Bank of Brodhead courtesy room. The featured presentation will be given by Rich Hager of the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe. He will be speaking on funeral customs and their origin and history in the U.S. and other cultures.
A short business discussion will be held prior to the guest presentation. The meeting is free and open to the public.
The public also is invited to the dedication celebration of the opening of the William S. Knight addition to the Depot Museum at 1 p.m. July 28.
