Dick and Frances Hagen, South Wayne, will celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary and Frances' 80th birthday with a family supper Saturday, Aug. 9, at Hideaway Acres, near Leadmine.
Dick is the youngest of eight children of the late Martin and Goldie Hagen of rural Gratiot. Frances is the daughter of the late Thomas and Catharine Cavanaugh of rural Shullsburg.
Dick and Frances were married on Aug. 5, 1946 on Frances' 18th birthday.
They had 10 children: Tom (deceased), Jack, Dickie (deceased), Ed, Jerry, Angie and Susan Aurand, all of South Wayne, Jim Hagen of Woodford, Ruth Fenn, Warren, and Fred, Winslow. They have 57 grandchildren and great-grandchildren
