MONROE - Green Haven Family Advocates is having its 19th annual Mother's Day plant sale to raise money for services provided to survivors of family violence.
Locations are First National Bank, Monroe; Monticello Village Hall, Monticello; Roy's Market, New Glarus; Albany Mini-Mart, Albany; and Juda Oasis, Juda. Sale hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 6 and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 7. A variety of hanging baskets, perennials, geraniums and potted flowers locally grown at Ahrens Acres in Brodhead will be available.
All proceeds from the sale go directly to fund programs for individuals and families in Green County affected by abuse and violence. The programs include prevention, education, and advocacy, support and services. Green Haven Family Advocates, Inc. is a not-for-profit agency.
