Green County Master Gardeners meeting set for Thursday

MONROE - The Green County Master Gardeners meeting is set for 7 p.m. Thursday in the multi-purpose rooms at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St. Lisa Johnson, University of Wisconsin-Extension, Dane County horticulture educator, will be on hand to discuss identification, insects and repotting of houseplants. Johnson earned her undergraduate degree in horticulture at UW-Madison and worked at various local garden centers and nurseries before returning to the UW for a graduate degree in Agricultural Communications. The Green County Master Gardeners Association, formed in 2004, meets on the fourth Thursday of the month from February through October.
