Green County Master Gardeners meeting set for Thursday

MONROE - The Green County Master Gardeners meeting is set for 7 p.m. Thursday in the multi-purpose rooms at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St.

Lisa Johnson, University of Wisconsin-Extension, Dane County horticulture educator, will be on hand to discuss identification, insects and repotting of houseplants. Johnson earned her undergraduate degree in horticulture at UW-Madison and worked at various local garden centers and nurseries before returning to the UW for a graduate degree in Agricultural Communications.

The Green County Master Gardeners Association, formed in 2004, meets on the fourth Thursday of the month from February through October. For more information, contact Mark Mayer, agriculture agent, at 608-328-9440.
