MONROE - The Green County Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave.
Tom Fey, John Ochsner and Tom Mitchell will present the Dr. Dodge story, in which a clairvoyant doctor, living on a farm north of Monroe in the 1870s, could cure patients by going into a trance. An actual 1958 audio tape recording is the basis of the story.
The event is open to the public.
