MONROE - The Green County Association for Home and Community Education (HCE) is selling its annual "Green County Homemakers' Favorites" cookbook.
The cookbook is $3 and is available between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Green County UW-Extension office in the Justice Center, 2841 6th St.
Proceeds from the sale of the cookbook fund yearly grants and scholarships given by HCE for students pursuing a college degree or furthering their education. Annually scholarships are awarded totaling $1,000.
This year's "Green County Homemakers' Favorites," also known as the Holiday Letter, includes more than 100 recipes from HCE club members.
HCE is a non-profit organization that partners with UW-Extension Family Living Programs, at both the state and county level, to bring educational programming to members and communities.
