MONROE — The Green County Ag Chest invites area girls to consider being a candidate for their Community Dairy Queen Program.
To be eligible, applicants must be a sophomore, junior or senior for the upcoming school year. They must attend the local school or have the community address or phone number of the community they wish to represent. The Community Dairy Queen is one of 11 queens that represent their community, Green County, and Wisconsin in the promotion of dairy products, resources, industries, tourism and people; especially the youth and youth organizations. The Community Dairy Queens are eligible to complete for the title of Green County Dairy Queen and Green County Dairy Princess.
The community dairy queens are required to attend monthly Green County Ag Chest Meetings, give radio reports, and write newspaper articles. They attend area fairs and festivals and promote dairy products. They support community activities; visit many new places, meet lots of people and make lifetime friends.
