The Green County Junior Holstein Association held an organizational meeting this fall. Members were recognized for summer achievements. Discussion was held on Cheese Days, state calf raffle tickets, dairy quiz bowl and the Wisconsin Junior Holstein Convention, which will be held on December 27-29 at the Wisconsin Dells. Marcy McCullough will be the county dairy bowl coach. New officers were elected. President Ally Judd; Vice President Mason Lien- Kirnis; Secretary Zach Moldenhaurser; Treasurer-Caitlin Bainbridge; Reporter Siera McCullough; Advisor Lea Jordan.
Green County Holstein Breeder held their annual banquet at Albany Lions Club. A pot luck was enjoyed by everyone. Brook and Riley Hendrickson, Beleville were awarded the Younger Breeder Award. Bob and Nikki Cramer, Juda were honored as the Senior Breeder. Marcy McCullough, Juda was awarded the Green County Service Award. Brooke Mueller, Brodhead was chosen for the Outstanding County Younger Member Award with Emma Hendrickson, Belleville received the Older Member Award.
