GRAS meeting on owls planned

MONROE - Green-Rock Audubon Society Board member Steve Reischel will present a program on banding owls at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov.19, at the Monroe Public Library second floor meeting room.

Reischel is a long-time volunteer at the Audubon organization and has a special interest in saw-whet owls. John Patterson, Green County's star bird- watcher, will give a short presentation on the December Christmas Bird Count. The Count will take place on Saturday, Dec. 13. Interested persons should plan to attend and learn details.

The program is open to the public.
