MONROE - Pleasant View Nursing Home will hold its annual "Gift of Light" tree throughout December in the nursing home lobby, N3150 Wisconsin 81. A monetary donation will purchase a light to honor or in memory of a loved one.
The loved one's name will be displayed on a card hung on the tree and listed on an easel next to the tree. Lights will be added to the tree throughout December as donations are received. The funds raised will be added to the Friends of Pleasant View special project fund, Memory Boxes.
To make a donation, list the names on a donation form, which may be picked up at the main office at Pleasant View from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays or from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays or may be printed from the website: www.pleasantviewnursinghome.org.
A smaller tree also will be available to recognize special pets.
