This mobile-exclusive passport invites you to sip, savor, and yodel your way around Green County, Wisconsin, with nearly 40 cheesy participating locations focused on melty favorites, spicy bites, and toasty pairings. The Cheese Passport is your guide to the coziest corners of Green County, featuring restaurants, pubs, cheese shops, retail shops with cheese boards and accessories, breweries, wineries, and distilleries — all ready to help you beat the chill in true Swiss-consin style.

When winter winds blow, there’s no better remedy than fondue pots bubbling with cheesy goodness or gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches hot off the griddle. Warm up with wood-fired pizza layered in molten Mozzarella, hot soup served in a bread bowl and topped with melted Parmesan, or hand-breaded and deep-fried Cheddar curds hot from the fryer. Pair it all with a glass of local wine, a mug of craft beer, or a sip of locally distilled bourbon — because that’s how we roll in Green County. Or ditch the mittens and wrap your hands around a mug of a hot seasonal beverage, whipped cream optional.

Every check-in earns points toward fun prizes and exclusive cheesy swag:

●  “Swiss-consin” cozy scarves

●  “Eat Drink Yodel” sweatshirts

●  Cheese slicers

●  Spilled Grapes Wine Bar wine wallets

●  Cheese Days Festival pint glasses

●  OR save up your points for a chance to win the Grand Prize — fondue for two and lodging at Chalet Landhaus in New Glarus — or enter the Lucky Dip drawing for your very own fondue pot, complete with a fondue cheese blend. Cheese of the Week prize drawings add even more chances to win.
