Genealogy work night lock-in will be Friday

MONROE - The Monroe Public Library and The Green County Genealogical Society will host a genealogy work night lock-in from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave.

The doors will be locked at 6:45 p.m.

Computers, scanner and copiers will be available along with online helps. The event is an opportunity to use the library facilities and view the genealogical society's holdings at one time. There will be hands-on help to assist beginners. Participants can bring questions and family history material that they may want to work on.

The free event is open to the public.
