Genealogical group to take field trip to 'Saxton House'

DARLINGTON - Lafayette County Genealogical Society will be taking a field trip for the monthly meeting Oct. 25.

All interested members

and members of the public can take the trip to Argyle to visit the "Saxton House" childhood home of Bob La Follette.

The tour of "Saxton House" will begin at 1:30 p.m. A member of the Historic Argyle Incorporated will conduct the tour and talk about the restoration project and "Fighting Bob" La Follette.
