MONROE — The Green County Historical Society Museum has opened for the season and will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through September. Admission is a free will donation. The historical society is located in the old Universalist Church, one block north of the Square.
Many changes have been made to the museum. This season will feature the Carl and Verena Marty portraits restored through financing of the Monroe Questers. Many other collections can be found on the two floors of the museum.
