MONROE - No time to bake for the holidays? A cookie walk and bake sale to benefit the Green County Humane Society will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 19 at Monroe Auto Sales, 101 W. Eighth St., Monroe.

In addition to homemade goodies, those attending can have a photo taken with Santa and Jamie the Clydesdale, or Poncho and Lefty, a team of miniature horses.

Adoptable animals from the shelter will also be on hand.

All proceeds from the event benefit GCHS.
