MONROE — The Monroe Public Library and Monroe Schools are closed to meet CCD mandates until April 13 when it will be reassessed. As a result, the Green County Genealogical Society Research Center in the lower level of the library will also be closed.

To meet CDC recommendations and state emergency requirements, the April 4 Green County Genealogical Society meeting is cancelled. The May meeting will be decided on at a later date. 

As everyone tries to comply with social distancing, this is an opportunity to organize photos, genealogy, and do online research.
