MONROE — The Green County Genealogical Society will present “Plan a Visit to the Wisconsin Historical Society” by Jill Fuller.
The presentation is at 10 a.m. on July 12 in the Monroe Public Library community room on the second floor. Note the meeting will be the second Saturday of July because of the holiday.
Jill Fuller is a Reference Librarian and Stacks Manager at the Wisconsin Historical Library. She started doing genealogy as a teenager and quickly caught the research bug. She has a B.A. in history from Winona State University and an MLIS from UW-Madison. Fuller is also a member of the Louisa May Alcott Society and is the co-creator of a podcast on Louisa May Alcott’s life called Let Genius Burn.
Let Jill Fuller help prepare those interested in taking a trip to the Wisconsin Historical Society (WHS).
WHS holds one of the top five genealogical collections in the country, with materials from across the United States and Canada. Discover more about our extensive family history collections in the library and archives, including newspapers, family history books, court records, and more. Learn how to search the catalog and website to find materials on your family for your next visit to WHS. Even those that can’t make it to Madison will find out how to get access to the physical and digital collections so they can keep researching their ancestry.
