MONROE — World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) and 2019 Green County Fair are proud to announce they have aligned for the Green County Bull Riding and Barrel Racing event in Monroe on July 19. This collaboration is a continued effort to expand opportunities for rodeo athletes around the globe.
“The WCRA is very excited to be able to align with one of our few mid-western events,” said WCRA President, Bobby Mote.
Competitors from this event will have the opportunity to nominate and earn points to qualify for the fall WCRA $500,000 semi-finals at the legendary Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, OK. The semi-finals will be followed by a WCRA one-day, $1,000,000 major rodeo.
Qualifying for WCRA events is based purely on performance and on series points, rather than dollars won, through a new world-ranking points system.
