MONROE — Members of the Green County 4-H Foods & Nutrition project recently participated in the annual Cake Revue event March 30 at the Green County Justice Center. Cake Revue is considered a pre-fair event of the Green County Fair and is judged by a licensed fair judge with ribbons being awarded to the youth.

Youth are divided into four levels based on grade and can bring up to two items to be judged at the Cake Revue. Examples of project options this year were decorated cupcakes; character cakes from a mold; Spring, Easter or St. Patrick’s Day themed cakes; and three tiered cakes.
