MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will host the program, "Square Foot Gardening" at 10 a.m. Saturday in the library's second-floor program room.
Expert Dan Stoudt will explain choosing a location and size for a square foot garden, selecting the proper tools, preparing the soil, starting seeds, planting, maintaining and protecting it. He'll also answer audience questions.
The free program has no pre-registration requirement.
