Gap Church rummage sale June 15

ALBANY — The Gap Church Museum, Inc. will be holding its Annual Rummage Sale Fundraiser & Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 at the church, W2401 Wis. 59, west of Albany. 

All money raised fundraiser will be used to restore the church windows. Two were repaired in 2022 and the two front windows have been repaired so far in 2023.

Donations will be accepted with some restrictions: No clothes or electronics. Donations are tax-deductible.

The Gap Church Museum, Inc. is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization.

The Monticello Prairie Baptist Church was organized in 1850. The church was built and cemetery platted in 1856. The addition was put on in 1923. It later became known simply as “The Gap.”
