ALBANY - The Board of Directors of the Gap Church Museum, Inc. and Cemetery Association recently held its annual meeting and set two fund-raising events for some needed repairs at the church.

Funds are needed to replace the roof of the church section this year to avoid leaks that will ruin the newly plastered walls and ceiling.

The first fundraiser will be a rummage/plant/bake sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at the Gap Church/Community Hall and Cemetery, W2401 Wisconsin 59. A collection of Precious Moment figurines was donated for the sale. The board is seeking donations, which are tax-deductible. Some restrictions will apply, including no electronics or clothing. An open house will be held in conjunction with this event.

The second fundraiser will be the annual Gap Church Hymn Sing which will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18 at the church.
