NEW GLARUS - The Future Forward survey results are in, and Future Forward! Green County needs help determining its next step.

The public is invited to Toffler's Pub & Grill, 200 5th Ave., New Glarus, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, to review the results of last year's surveys of more than 750 current and former residents about local jobs, education, quality of life, entertainment, cost of living and more to determine:

n Green County's strong points, and how we can market them;

n The county's weaknesses, and ways we can improve; and,

n What Future Forward's priorities should be to make this county an attractive place to live and work.

Community members, business people, government officials and anyone concerned about quality of life, jobs and taxes in Green County is strongly encouraged to participate in this grassroots effort.

Started in 2008, Future Forward! Green County's goal is to attract, retain and engage the best and brightest to our communities.

Using strategies and efforts aimed at bringing former residents back to the community, strengthening Green County's local image and recruiting people to work or start businesses in Green County, Future Forward! Green County seeks to improve the economy and overall lifestyle.

The Jan. 21 event, hosted by Dave Mosher and Associates, begins at 5 p.m. with a social time followed by the meeting at 5:30 p.m.

RSVPs are encouraged and can be made by e-mailing Nikki Matley at Nicole.Matley@rrd.com, calling (608) 328-8629, or visiting the Future Forward Green County Facebook page.
