FREEPORT — Plan for a hauntingly good time at Wine & Witches Boo-tique Walk, a unique shopping and wine tasting event, to be held in downtown Freeport from 4-9 p.m. on October 9.
This enchanting evening will showcase dozens of downtown boutiques and retailers, offering a magical blend of shopping, wine tasting, and seasonal merriment. Guests are encouraged to don their most creative costumes, with prizes awarded for the best individual, best hat, best nails, and best-duo. Interactive and performative entertainment will continue throughout the event with dance performances, balloon art, caricatures, live music, and so much more.
“We’re excited to host this event that brings together our community, local businesses, and the joy of the Halloween season,” said Partnership Events & Engagement Manager Katie Gentz. “It’s a chance to support local businesses, enjoy some fantastic wines, and get into the spirit of the season.”
While the event is free to attend, a VIP experience is also available. For just $20, VIP guests will receive a SWAG bag filled with local merchandise, adding an extra touch of exclusivity to the event. All attendees start the evening by picking up their event tasting glass at Rootz & Branchez, 101 W. Main Street. In addition to the tasting glass, attendees will receive a list of participating locations and scavenger hunt information for a chance to win gift baskets of local merchandise.
