FREEPORT - FHN, as part of its mission to improve the health of area communities by working with the best in healthcare providers, awarded area students Erin Eilders, Lena, and Kristin Obert, Orangeville, scholarships to help cover the cost of healthcare education.

"We had an exceptional group of applicants this year," said Michael Perry, M.D., president and CEO of FHN. "While that makes our choice more difficult, it makes us glad to see so many excellent students pursuing careers in healthcare."

Erin Eilders, Lena, is working toward a degree in radiation therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Kristin Obert, Orangeville, is working toward a degree in physical therapy and athletic training at Clarke College in Dubuque.
