MONROE - The movie "My Son, My Savior" will be shown at 7 p.m. April 27 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 1603 16th Ave., Monroe.
There will also be a barbecue dinner at 6:30 p.m.
The 45-minute movie traces the emotional journey of Mary, mother of Jesus Christ, and is based on biblical Scripture that relates the role that Mary played in the life of Christ and God's plan of salvation.
Both the dinner and movie are free and open to the public.
