JUDA - Paul Matzke, Keith Helland, Kurt Jordon and Joel Steinmann, all of Juda, were each honored with a Quilt of Valor July 30.
Kathy Broger and Sue Crooks did a presentation describing the Quilt of Valor Program. The quilts are a thank you to the servicemen for their commitment and service to the country and can never be raffled or sold.
The Juda Forefathers sponsored the making of these quilts by the Courthaus Quilters. The event is held annually to raise money for people in the community, including cancer and hospice patients, Badger Honor Flight and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
