A brief synopsis: On Labor Day weekend, 1980, human bones are unearthed by Boy Scout Troop #101 on the Schmidt farm located on Iliff Road. Police Chief Brandon Johns and Det. Samantha Gates are called to investigate. The pathologist, Dr. Ken, determined the bones to be approximately six years old and a murder may have been the cause of death. Do they want to spend police resources investigating a cold case? The family is in shock at the discovery and want the police to pursue the case to bring closure to a family mystery that has haunted them for years. As the investigation continues they narrow the possible suspects down to four family members. To complicate matters, only two of their suspects are still alive but are residing in a nursing home. As they gather data to piece together the puzzle, will they get a break in the case to solve the murder and bring peace to the family?
