MONROE - The fifth annual MERIT Center All-You-Can-Eat fish fry fundraiser will be from 5 to 8 p.m. March 25 at the downtown fire station, 1803 12th St., Monroe.
The menu will include fried cod, French fries, coleslaw, rolls, mac and cheese, dessert and lemonade, coffee, water and soda for beverages. The cost is $10 per person for all you can eat or $8 for carryout orders. All proceeds will benefit the classroom building project.
The MERIT Center is a six-acre, multiple-use fire and emergency training center located in the north industrial park. It is available for use by all Green County agencies and regularly conducts fire, police, EMS and private industry safety response training. It is also home to the Monroe Fire School, which is in its 78th year.
