First Baptist plans special service for Patriotic Sunday

MONROE - Patriotic Sunday begins at 10:30 a.m. Memorial Day, Sunday, at the First Baptist Church, 853 31st Ave.

A special meal will follow the program honoring all military personnel and the heroes who have died.

The program includes special guests Camp Joy Quartet, full color guard, missionary Mike Marshall, Monroe Mayor Bill Ross, Wisconsin State Representative Brett Davis, R-Oregon, and special veteran speaker, Evangelist Jason Hill. Ross will present a plaque to the American Legion in honor of the military.

All veterans and active duty personnel are invited and will receive a special gift. Rides are available by calling 325-2250.

Patriotic Sunday is open to the public.
