Fair returns with smiles and flair David Koning of Koning Auction Service fires away at the Fur and Feathers Auction July 24 at the Green County Fair. Fairgoers young and old fully embraced the 2021 Green County Fair July 21-25 despite heat index temperatures reaching over 90 degrees Fahrenheit for four of the five days. Lines for cheese curds and carnival rides had wait times over 30 minutes or longer on occasion. There were 4-H exhibits, animals and cheese auctions, a rodeo, multiple tractor pulls and lumberjack shows, professional wrestling, and the weekend was capped by the annual demolition derby. - photo by Shannon Rabotski After the Lumberjack Show July 24, a lumberjack training camp took place where individuals of all ages could try their hand at crossing water by logs. - photo by Angie Maag Olivia Feller puts on a smile as bids come in for her Reserve Champion chicken at the Fur and Feathers Auction July 24. - photo by Shannon Rabotski Competitors took flight as they charged ahead during the Southern Wisconsin ATV/Garden Tractor Pull on Friday, July 23.
