JUDA - The Juda FFA received a $2,500 donation from America's Farmers Grow Communities to provide leadership and professional development opportunities.

Grow Communities gives farmers the opportunity to win $2,500 for their favorite local nonprofit organizations. Darren Roth was the winning farmer in Green County. He directed the donation to the Juda FFA and helped present Juda FFA with the $2,500 donation at a ceremony March 8.

The organization will use part of the money to bring in professional speaker Dave Roever for a school assembly on life choices and making the right decisions. The remaining portion of the donation will provide financial assistance to students attending the FFA Washington Leadership Conference and create a loan program for students' Supervised Agricultural Experience programs.
