MONROE — Green County churches are uniting to host a Farmer’s Appreciation Meal from noon until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Monroe United Methodist Church, 2227 4th St., Monroe. The meal is free and open to all who farm. 

Thanksgiving is a holiday to celebrate the harvest. This meal is a way to show support for neighbors and farmers.
