DARLINGTON — Wisconsin Farm to Table will hold its fifth annual Farm to Table dinner at 5 p.m. Aug. 4 at Darlington Ridge Farms, 24425 St. Peters Road.
The evening’s festivities begin with farm tours. Live music entertainment by Boxcar Social band will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed by cocktail hour at 6 p.m. A catered dinner program begins at 7 p.m.
This annual event centers around animal care, sustainable practices and safe and pure food products. Food will be prepared by local chef Tyler Sailsbery of The Black Sheep restaurant, Fin and Hooves and Casual Joes. The goal is to bring together a community of consumers through food grown and raised by local farmers, found at local grocery stores and prepared by local culinary experts.
Pork for the meal will be contributed by Don and Christine Kamps of DC Kamps Farms in Belmont and bison will be contributed by Jake and Jeff Williams of Four Creeks Bison in Galena.
These additional farms and businesses are supplying ingredients to the meal and will be presenting their stories during the dinner program: Darin Shireman of Badger Brothers Coffee in Platteville is contributing coffee beans; Kristen and Kennedy Conley of Blue Barrel Produce in Kieler are contributing produce; Dean Dickel of New Century Farm and Ryan Miller of Farmers Henhouse distributor in Mineral Point are contributing eggs; and Chris Roelli of Roelli Cheese Company in Shullsburg is contributing cheese.

Wisconsin Farm to Table is a non-profit event organization established in 2013 to offer an on-farm experience, with a farm tour, dinner and dialogue between those interested in agriculture and where their food originates. Money raised from annual event is donated to a local non-for-profit of the host farm’s choice.
