Exhibit and cruise roll into town in 'Style'

FREEPORT - The Freeport/Stephenson County Visitors Center welcomes its newest expo, "Cruisin' in Style Yesterday and Today," featuring vehicles from the past and present.

Included in the expo is a 1933 Chevrolet truck owned by Roger and Donna Schoch of Dakota.

Roger purchased the truck in 1995 and has spent many years restoring it. Also featured is a 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT Sport Utility provided by J.H. Barkau and Sons.

J.H. Barkau and Sons have businesses in Freeport, Cedarville and Stockton.

Also showcased are photos and information on Freeport's own Cruise Night, which takes place Aug. 1 and is sponsored by Barkau's.

The expo will be on display through Aug. 3.

The Visitors Center, located at 4596 US Route 20 east of Freeport, is open daily from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
