Event offers free electronics recycling

MONROE - The free electronics recycling event, hosted by Woodford State Bank, will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 26 at the Colony Brands parking lot at Wisconsin 69 and 16th Avenue.

Donations support Green County Habitat for Humanity and Green County Humane Society.

Acceptable electronic items include cables, cable boxes, DVD players, external devices, laptops, projectors, satellite dishes, TVs and VCRs. Acceptable household items include blenders, cameras, clocks, electronic knives, hair dryers, radios and microwaves. Unacceptable items include freon-containing items, household batteries, liquid items, medical equipment and items that are white goods, including refrigerators, dishwashers and stoves.
