MONROE - The Green County Area Entrepreneur and Inventor meeting is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6 at Café Claudeen on Monroe's Square.
The meeting will feature Greg Docktor, the first-place winner of the Inventors Showcase at the 2010 Wisconsin Ideas to Profits Conference at the meeting. Docktor, Cottage Grove, will share some of the things that have moved his nose-bleed gel invention closer to production and the road he has traveled over the last two years.
Joining Docktor will be entrepreneurs Pat Sellon, Second Childhood Creations, who will share how her business idea has morphed over the last two years; Michelle Ames, 360Clean, who is working with franchises; Cathy Cryor Burgweger, who recently opened Franklin Grove Etc. in Attica; Kay Freitag, Freitag Financial Service, who took a leap of faith and started her own office; and Bert Paris, Edelweiss Graziers Cooperative, who with his partners believed that pasture-raised cows produce a quality product that creates unique and flavorful cheeses and others.
