Announcement is made of the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Amanda Sandry and John Marrs, both of San Antonio, Texas, by their parents. Parents of the bride-to-be are Bob and Barb Hauser, Browntown, and Don Sandry, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Parents of the future groom are Steve and Kim Woodworth, Phoenix, Ariz., and Warren Marrs, Chicago, Ill.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Monroe High School and is enrolled at St. Philips College studying for a degree in healthcare management and the Community College of the Air Force. She is enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant employed as a medical lab technician at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas.
The future groom is a 1998 graduate of Shullsburg High School and a 2000 graduate of Western Wisconsin Technical College with a degree in commercial art/computer graphics. He is also enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman, testing up to Staff Sergeant in May and employed as a medical lab technician at Lackland AFB, San Antonio.
A 2010 wedding is being planned.
