John and Marilyn Rupnow of Monroe announce the engagement of their daughter Kristin Rupnow to Tyrel Douglas, son of Jean Stauffacher and Samuel Kendall and Dean and Christine Douglas of Darlington.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Monroe High School and a 2012 graduate of Blackhawk Technical College with an associate's degree in nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse for Monroe Clinic Hospice.
The groom-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Darlington High School and a 2011 graduate of Southwest Technical College, with a degree in ag power. He is currently working on the family farm, Highway Dairy Farms in Darlington.
The couple resides in Darlington.
A wedding is planned for Sept. 2 in Darlington with a reception to follow at Highway Dairy Farms.
