Richard and Lori Runkle, Monroe, announced the engagement of their daughter, Maggie Elizabeth, to David Scott King, son of the late Donald King and the late Kelly Varner-King.
The groom-to-be and the bride-to-be are both 2009 graduates of Monroe High School. The groom-to-be is a graduate of the Blackhawk Technical College welding program and is employed as a welder at Kuhn North American Inc., Brodhead.
