The future bride is a graduate of Monroe High School. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a master of science degree in education. She is employed as school psychologist for the Brodhead School District.
The future groom is a graduate of Black Hawk High School. He graduated from UW-Platteville with a bachelor of arts degree in secondary education. He is employed as a teacher at Monroe High School.
The couple will be married at a small ceremony on Aug. 19, 2011 at Lake Carroll, Ill. A reception and dance will take place on Aug. 20, 2011 in Monroe.
