TOWN OF FAYETTE - The eighth biannual Town of Fayette Picnic/Reunion is set for July 25 at the Fayette Town shop/office. The event is open to all past and present residents, families and friends.
The parade will line up at 10:30 a.m. at the RFS Center. All entries are welcome and no registration is required. The parade is set for 11 a.m.
A noon picnic will be held at the Fayette shop/office. Those who attend should bring a dessert or salad to pass, table services and their own chair. Beef and pork sandwiches, cowboy potatoes, lemonade and coffee will be provided.
A short program will be at 1 p.m. and will include a raffle drawing for a quilt.
From 3 to 9 p.m., Hot Rod DJ will perform at Fayette Saloon.
Other activities include the display of old-time pictures and memorabilia and a ride through the Boise property either by wagon or in the participant's own vehicle from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
