FREEPORT - Golf 'N Games, held June 20-22 at Park Hills Golf Course in Freeport, raised more than $15,000 for Malcolm Eaton Enterprises and drew more than 400 golfers and spectators.
Proceeds from Golf 'N Games are used to fund adult day services at Malcolm Eaton Enterprises, a not-for-profit organization that assists people with developmental disabilities.
Local Golf 'n Games winners were:
Second Closest to the Pin: Scott Smice, Monroe, $200;
Third Closest to the Pin: Eric Obert, Dakota, $100. Obert, who is a student athlete, can only keep $20 of his prize money under ISHA rules so he donated the remainder of his winnings to the Orangeville Bronco Boosters.
Driving Fore! Dollars Driving Contest
13-17 Age Division: Eric Obert, Dakota, first, $7;
55+ Age Division: John Reed, Lena, first, $12.
