Easter scavenger hunt is April 8

MONROE - The Easter scavenger hunt and basket benefit, sponsored by Monroe Kiwanis, will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 8 at the Monroe Middle School new gym or outside on the grassy area, weather permitting. The scavenger hunt is free for children in fourth grade or younger. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The children each will get a scavenger hunt list. The list will include an Easter necklace, Easter tattoos, a bunny rocket, a lamb bouncy ball, a glitter putty egg, Paw Patrol crayons, an Easter coloring page, a surprise goodie bag and a business coupon. Colony Brands will be giving a stuffed lamb and Easter basket to each child.

The Easter Basket Benefit will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 8. Bidding will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Monroe Middle School. Baskets from various businesses and individuals will be filled with goodies, including gift certificates, shirts, cheese and many other items.

Business baskets include: Minhas Brewery, Toy Haus, Woodford State Bank, Wisconsin Bank & Trust, New Limits Hair Design, Dairy Queen, Culver's, Anytime Fitness, Luecke's Jewelry, Suisse Haus, Wisconsin Cheese Group, Pancho & Lefty's and others. The names of the highest bidders who win the baskets will be announced at 12:30 p.m.
