MONROE - The charitable giving from the Festival of Trees event didn't stop after the festive evening.

Two of the attendees, Joanne Inda and Robert Krizek made sure the animals at the Green County Humane Society, the staff and volunteers had a bright Christmas.

Inda attended the Festival of Trees event and saw that the Green County Humane Society had a need for a commercial dryer on their list of wants. Inda had inquired about the cost of the commercial dryer which cost $3,476.00 and wanted to take care of this need for the shelter.

Inda is employed by a company in Chicago and the company owners told Inda they wanted to make a charitable donation to a needy charity and asked her to pick a charity of her choice.

Inda knew immediately of the Green County Humane Society's need and quickly told her company's owners about the need.

The business owners and company in Chicago immediately cut a check and Inda and Bob Krizek covered the remaining amount needed to make this wish come true.

The volunteers and staff at the Green County Humane Society had explained that this donation couldn't have come at a better time as the dryer that have currently is on its last legs.
