Pleasant View Nursing Home was the recent recipient of a unique garden and wildlife scape themed cheese wedge, “Wild Wisconsin” painted by a local artist, Alyssa NcNall that was displayed on Monroe’s Square last year. The wedge was sponsored and donated by The Bank of New Glarus, a long-time supporter of Pleasant View. Branch Manager, Jean Sinkule wanted this piece of art to find a good home and thought of Pleasant View’s backyard garden being the perfect spot for residents, families and friends to enjoy. From left: Raevynn Jackson, the third Youth Apprenticeship student from Monroe High School to be working at the bank, Jean Sinkule, Maria B. Johnson, Administrator for Pleasant View, and Ron Schaaf, President of the bank.
