FITCHBURG - The Department of Natural Resources will host four open house/public information meetings later this month to gather further public input on a proposed Southwest Wisconsin Grassland and Stream Conservation Area (SWGSCA) project.The four open houses/public information meetings, a follow-up to four similar meetings held in July, 2005, are scheduled for:• Aug. 25 at Belmont - Baymont Inn and Suites, 103 W. Mound View Ave. (Exit 26 off Wisconsin 151 next to Travel Center)• Aug. 26 at Mineral Point - Comfort Inn, 1345 Business Park Rd. (off Wis. 151 on Wis. 23)• Aug. 27 at Hollandale - Countryside Lanes, 1255 County F (at junction of Wis. 39 and County F)• Aug. 28 at Mt. Horeb - State Bank of Cross Plains, 1740 Business Wisconsin 18/151All four meetings will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with a 30-minute presentation at 7 p.m.
