MONROE - Boy Scout Troop 101 is washing spuds and chopping onions for its 13th annual fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. April 18 at the Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Ave., Monroe.

Dinner options are a baked potato or taco dinner featuring a choice of toppings and a homemade dessert or Culver's custard.

A silent auction will also be going on during the dinner. Auction items this year include an Ultrazone Laser Tag package, Mt. Olympus Water Park passes, a Crazy Horse camping package, Vitense Footgolf passes, Beloit Snappers baseball tickets and a year of Culver's custard.

Dinner tickets can be purchased in advance at Wisconsin Bank and Trust, 1717 10th St., Monroe, or at the door for $6. Takeouts also are available.

The money raised helps keep Troop 101 operational, including camping and supplies, merit badges and awards. The staff is all volunteer, so the money raised goes directly to support the troop and the scouts.
