Shannon Monte was named to the dean's list for the spring 2010 term at Carthage College in Kenosha. Monte graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in social work and a minor in Spanish from Carthage College on May 23, 2010. She is a member of the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Fraternity, Social Work Club, and Kappa Phi Eta sorority. She was accepted in the masters program for social work this fall at the University of Illinois in Champaign. Monte is a 2006 graduate of Orangeville High School and is the daughter of Steve and Kathy Monte, Orangeville.
